Since launching in 2023, the AD PRO Directory—AD’s trusted resource for connecting readers with design professionals—has cultivated a robust network of leading architects, interior designers, and landscape experts across the U.S. Now, that community is growing, as the Directory welcomes a new professional category: builders and contractors.
Starting today, homeowners and designers can browse AD-approved builders, design-build firms, general contractors, and specialty subcontractors from coast to coast to hire for their next home design project. Results are filterable through profession and location. Founding members include Cook Construction, Pollack + Partners, MatPel Builders, Setzler, Vernacular Design, and Z Builders, among others.
Applications for this section of the Directory will remain open on a rolling basis. Builders and contractors interested in submitting their firm for consideration should do so through the AD PRO Directory application page. (Application requirements include a business description, logo or headshot, contact and location details, and portfolio imagery.) Each application is reviewed by the AD editorial team.
This category launch, presented by Ferguson, marks a new chapter for the AD PRO Directory and reinforces AD’s reputation as a whole-home destination. For designers and prospective and current homeowners alike, the Builders and Contractors subsection of the Directory promises to be a comprehensive resource for connecting with the right design talent.
